Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege of working with the firm of Sherman Sherman Johnnie & Hoyt, LLP to develop a new website. This site features an original design, with hand coded pages built on the Word Press framework, with new photography of firm members and office by William Bragg.

My clients wanted a site that reflected their values as trusted advisors, and one that also reflected their unique, newly renovated office with its warm, open feeling. So we went with a conservative yet contemporary design with warm colors that complemented the beautiful artwork in their offices.

One of the unique features of this new site is the dynamic content box on the front page. A portion of each news article is displayed on the front page with the date and and link to read more. This feature allows the webmaster to post articles to a single internal page yet displays the three most current headlines on the front page. This news section also takes advantage of the Word Press ability to assign categories and tags to each post which is a boost for SEO.
